The new adjustable training rein which teaches you to maintain a correct, effective & soft contact and is ideal for both riders and instructors, was introduced at the BETA 2009 and went down a storm.

This new training aid is coming to Britain & Europe from America courtesy of Essential Equine. The rein has been designed as a riding aid that maintains your rein length, so you can concentrate on other aspects of your ride.

We know that proper rein length is of the utmost importance… Rein-Bows attach easily to the reins to help maintain proper rein length and to keep the reins from slipping. The student and teacher will find the Rein-bows a very useful training aid, assisting in the best possible hand position. When the rider’s hands are in the correct position, this forces the rider to develop a correct leg position instead of balancing off the horse’s neck or mouth.

She went on to say “we have already taken large orders from four different countries and have numerous other enquiries”.

The Riding for the Disabled Association has already asked us to demonstrate the rein at many different branches and we are delighted to help such a worthwhile charity”
